Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are the agreement between you and Twocompo ("we", "us") for using Indo Trade (the "service": the mobile app and the web portal). Please read them. By registering, signing in or using the service you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Who may use the service
- The service is for businesses. You must be at least 18 and, if you use it for an organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to act for that organisation.
- The organisation's owner decides who gets a login and what each person may do (owner, accountant, salesperson). The owner is responsible for the people they invite.
2. What the service is, and what it is not
Indo Trade helps a business keep records of its commodity trades: trades, dispatches, payments, expenses, accounts and documents. It is not a bank, a payment service, a wallet, a broker or an exchange. It does not move, hold or transfer money, and it does not buy or sell goods or securities for you. When you record a payment, you are writing down something that happened elsewhere.
Contracts, invoices and other documents are generated from your entries and from template wording. The templates are general starting texts. They are not legal, tax or accounting advice. Check every document before you sign, send or rely on it, and ask a qualified adviser where needed. We are not a party to any trade or contract between you and anyone else.
3. Registration and approval
- You must give correct information when you register and keep it up to date.
- A new organisation can be used only after we approve it. We may refuse or end a registration, for example if the information is false or incomplete.
- Keep your password secret and do not share your login. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access.
4. Access to the service
Access for an organisation, including its length, the number of users and companies, and any charges, is arranged between us and that organisation outside the app. The app itself has no purchases or payment screens. When access ends or is suspended, the people in that organisation can no longer use the service and are shown a message saying so.
5. Your data
- You own your data. What you and your organisation enter, upload and generate stays yours.
- You give us permission to store, process, display and back up it only as needed to run the service for you, as the Privacy Policy describes.
- You are responsible for your data: that it is accurate, that you have the right to enter it (including other people's contact details), and that it does not break the law or anyone's rights.
- The service calculates totals, balances, tax and conversions from the figures, rates and rules you enter (for example exchange rates and tax rates). Check results before you rely on them.
- You can export your records through the reports and PDF documents, and you can delete your account at any time (section 9).
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or misleading, including money laundering, evading sanctions or tax, or recording sham transactions;
- access another organisation's data, or try to get around the login, roles or limits of the service;
- probe, scan, overload, attack or interfere with the service, or upload malware;
- copy, resell, reverse engineer or build a competing service from the app, except as the law allows;
- upload content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory or that you have no right to use, including other people's confidential details;
- share documents with people who should not have them. A shared link can be opened by anyone who has it.
7. Documents, links and messages you send
When you share a document by link, WhatsApp, email or another app, you choose the recipient and you are responsible for that choice. Those other services are not ours and have their own terms. We send an email only when you ask us to, to the address you enter.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change, add or remove features, and do maintenance. Entries you save without a signal wait on your phone until they can be sent; keep the app installed until they are. We may release updates and may stop supporting very old versions of the app.
9. Ending your use
- By you: you can delete your account in the app (More › Delete my account) or on the web at https://trade.twocompo.com/delete-account. If you are the last owner of an organisation, deleting your account deletes the whole organisation and its data for good. Download what you need first.
- By us: we may suspend or end access if you or your organisation break these Terms, put the service or other users at risk, if the arrangement in section 4 ends, or if the law requires.
- When access ends, sections that by nature continue (ownership, disclaimers, liability, governing law) continue.
10. Our rights
The app, its design, text and code belong to us or our licensors. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for your organisation's business while you have access. We may use feedback you send us to improve the service without owing you anything.
11. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not give warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, and we do not guarantee that the figures, documents or templates are suitable for your trades, accurate in your country, or free of errors.
12. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business or goodwill, or loss that comes from your data, your trades, your decisions or other people's actions. Our total liability for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount you or your organisation paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim (or, if nothing was paid, to a nominal amount). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, for example for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
13. Your responsibility to us
You are responsible for claims, losses and costs that arise from your data, your breach of these Terms, or your unlawful use of the service, to the extent the law allows, and you will help us deal with them.
14. App stores
If you got the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, these Terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. They are not responsible for the app, its support, maintenance or any claims about it, and they are not parties to these Terms. They may enforce these Terms against you as third-party beneficiaries where their own rules say so. You must also follow the terms of your app store and device.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is important we will tell you in the app or by email before it applies. If you keep using the service after the change takes effect, you accept the new Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the service and delete your account.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India, at the place of our registered office, have jurisdiction, unless a consumer-protection law in your country gives you the right to use the courts there. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a problem together.
